Didn't get to sleep in that's for sure. On the one day - the one day out of the entire week that I can actually sleep in - it never fails that I am unable to. This morning I was up at 5am. 5am. Seriously? So I kinda laid there for a while hoping to fall back to sleep. Nope, dogs wanted to go out. Then tried to lay back down again - not happening. Then just about the time that everything settled down again, found a position that the sun wasn't in my face - the husband decides to get up and then that's it everybody needs to wake up.
Spent a few hours in the kitchen again cooking after going to the grocery store to get all of the needed ingredients. Chopping, dicing, mincing, grinding, measuring, separating ingredients. Getting everything lined up and ready to go. Listening to the family ask repeatedly when is it going to be ready. Made the soup and dirty rice - followed up with some cajun corn fritters. The family was happy.
The rest of my day has pretty much been a lazy one. Laying on the couch, snuggled up with my pillow and blanket - not feeling 100% and wanting to rest. Wish I had the remote though - the husband really does pick some boring things to watch - and all things which we have seen already multiple times.
Not looking forward to going into work tomorrow - wish I had come up with a plan already on how to walk in there and give my notice. The time will come. I have to make sure the plan is right. In the meantime, continue to collect my paychecks.
For now...I rest.

Not sure what happened to the shoes - hopefully you can see them now...and yes, the Spanish are very useful
