Dominatrix Shit Kickers
Another great day.
I think perhaps my decision on how February was going to go - has maybe started a few days early...not that I'm complaining.
Spent the bulk of my day doing my usual Saturday things - interacting with lots of great people and loving to see them smile. Witnessed several students receiving their next belts - which is one of my favorite things and I especially love the speeches that go along with the belt promotions.
My evening was spent with my daughter - and several other students - witnessing our organization dominate at some local fights. I give them a lot of credit just for stepping in the ring. I competed once since I began training - and my first match I couldn't hear anything because my adrenaline was through the roof. One of our fighters tonight was a woman defending her title. It took everything in me not to tear up - as I listened to my daughter, who was standing on the bleachers behind me - screaming and chanting and clapping for our fighter. I truly love the fact that she can see one of our female fighters and know that girls are just as tough (if not tougher) than boys!
Now it's time to close my eyes and get some rest - I have a wonderful afternoon planned with some great friends tomorrow and need to make sure I am well rested.
