An interesting day to say the least.
Did you ever just have a day - where you thought - I would really like to be a kid again? Now I mean a little kid - to be carefree and no worries in the world. Someone else takes care of your expenses and makes sure that your clothes are laid out for you to get dressed in the morning. Someone else packs your lunch with a little note of encouragement and love tucked inside for a little surprise. Someone else prepares your dinner and does your laundry. Someone else goes to work and deals with the brainless slimy people.
Today I wanted to be a kid again. To not have to deal with shady people. To not have to deal with a broken heart. To not have to deal with stress. To just not have to deal.
Instead, I want to hang out in my favorite pajamas. I want to lay on the couch with my blanket and pillow. (oh wait, I am doing both of those things now) To chill and watch some cartoons (watching the weather channel to hear about the impending snow, doesn't count). To play some video games. I used to be really good at Atari. I also used to kick my husband's butt in Mortal Kombat.
But something happened along the way and somebody made me grown up and do mature things. Somebody made it so that my body feels sore after training and takes a little more time to bounce back. Somebody made me get a job and pay bills and be the person who worries about all of those things so that someone else can just be a kid. Blech. I wish I was a kid.

I don't want to be a kid. I want to be a grownup but without all the responsibility. Now that would be perfect.
