House Heels
Finally after 8 very long days - my husband is finally home from the hospital. And it's a good thing - think the guy they put in his room last night is carrying something contagious - the hospital was getting ready to transport him to another hospital - fever, fluid on the brain, pus behind his eye that is causing him blindness, pneumonia, coughing up a lung, one swollen ankle - yeah. Definitely glad the husband is home. Once we heard about the transport - we didn't even let the kids come to the hospital tonight.
Just thankful he is home. Now he has to follow the doctors orders. Goes back to work the Monday after Easter - followed by a month of not being able to work, just can watch and not do anything labor-wise. I don't think he wants to repeat this - so I hope he listens.
Now for tomorrow. Get the kids to where they need to be in the morning. Come home and do some cleaning. Do a demo for work. Laundry. Grocery shopping. Depending on how the husband is feeling - may take the daughter to train, will play that one by ear though. May have to skip training just to finish getting this house back in order. I told him - it's funny - all of the times I have been in the hospital, he's home 99.99% of the time with the kids - I eat the hospital food, etc. and still come home to a house that needs to be cleaned. After spending pretty much every waking hour of the last eight days at the hospital with him - this house now needs some tlc. I'm tired just thinking about it.
