Just got home from seeing the movie Insidious.  I have to say that I quite enjoyed it.  There were times during the movie that were definitely predictable - but it made me jump a few times which is always a plus in my book.  I could have done without the stupid teenagers, but the scared-y-cat girls were quite comical at times.

The movie had me thinking about paranormal activity while driving home.

I have experienced several paranormal things in my life - and it's something which I believe exists.  I believe that there are spirits around us.  I believe that it is possible that you can have a connection with someone because you have been connected to them in another life.  I believe that there are people which have the ability to see or speak to spirits.

My parents have always told my brother and I about the house that was haunted that they lived in.  That if they stayed up past a certain time at night, the lights would go out.  Upon going to the lamps - they would have to physically screw the light bulbs back in before the light would come back on.

My son when he was around four or five years old, he used to speak to, hear and see spirits.  He had described my husband's grandfather to me several times - a man which died when I was pregnant with my son and of whom we had no pictures of.  He would be up in his room and would tell me about the voices that would talk to him.

When my son was about a year and a half old, I visited a psychic.  She described numerous aspects of my life to a T.  For items which she predicted, they have since happened.  During my reading she spoke very clearly about my cousin who had died when he was 16 and I was 9 - and how he stood over my right shoulder constantly watching over me.

I believe that when we have dreams about someone who has past - it is there way of being able to communicate with us and we need to listen to their messages closely.

I have always been fascinated by such interactions and experiences.
